Soap's, are they worth it?

I'm thinking of getting a pair of soap's aswell as inline's.... are the soap's worth the money? i figured it would help me in the off season

they are these shoes that have grind plates in the mid sole of them, btw solomn made a pair that they had vertical and horizontal plates if ya can find em

they look like skate shoes, and i've seen them where you can take out the plate to reduce weight while not riding... i want um.

they're plastic plates about the size of the ones on the weapons. fun to mess around on, and feel like shoes.

i just wanna know they still make em, i kno it was the big thing when i was in 6th grade, im a sophmore now. i didnt care for em too much i loved my samba's too much and still do

I used to have a pair in 6th grade too, they used to have a site like soapshoes.com or something, but it shut down a couple years ago. I dont know if they still make them, but they were fun to mess around with

i'm a soaper since 3years ... it's really fun , you should try it ... but i wonder if it help a lot for your skiboard skills...

my soap shoes are rollerblade models...

my friend has them, hes relly good with them too, but u hafta be able to jump very high if your going to grind anything decent

Yeah....soaps are cool..I had a pair when they first came out. But BE AWARE....It is VERY easy to snap an ankle if you are not careful. I seen a couple people doin handrails come off it wierd an SNAP!!! there goes the ankle. Just something to think about. Its a lot harder to run out of a rail than it is to roll or slide.Know what I mean ;)

hahaha, I loved my soaps, we used to bust all sorts of tricks: Unitys, royales, frontsides, souls acids... EVERYTHING! If you can find them get themn!
