I hate these ass-holes who close like 5 trails a day to make them icey as hell. then when they are finished they are riding in the park the entire time doing the ugliest shit i've personally ever seen. I've had this rivalry for about 3 yrs. with those d-bags. anyone else have this problem? Hopefully i never see a skiboard race accour with the stupid poles and everything... god i hate it!

Yeah, ski racers can be obnoxious, but racing on skiboards wouldn't be bad...just don't use poles. And secondly, just go show em up in the park. Be like, yeah, you can do some hideous old school stuff, but can you do this? and pull off some sick rail or grab or something.

well yea, ya know i think your best moves come out when showing pp up, theese park crew (snowboarders) at mountain creek sed lets see your best stuff. so i hit the first jump in the park which is a pretty big hit i think like a 20 or a 30? but i pulled a flying fish off that then hit the 20 that is on the left trail and did a tail grad 3 (ive never done a grap and spin at the same time) and landed that then we brought them down to retals where they got minimax's for free so they hit the first jump and both of them bust there ass. so i laughed and left best time i think....

Come on guys.....it's all good. People ride different stuff on the same mountain. It's always gonna be like that. Don't hate on someone just be cause they choose to race ski's. This is the kind of shit that will give skiboarding a bad rep. Snowboarders (not all)are the worst about that and thats why a lot of people hate them and what their sport is all about. We are all gonna have to share the mountain no matter how much shit talking goes on. Might as well be cool and understand that not everyone wants to skiboard (although they should)and deal with it and get along. Sorry....just my thoughts....I just think that we (as skiboarders and as a sport in general) are hated enough right now that we don't need to give anybody anymore reason to hate on us either.

i think that if anyone wants to use the park, they need to know the etiquette
i know this doesnt apply for all racers, but a lot of them do get in the way a LOT
SO if your gonna bitch and complain to racers, make sure its only to the ones that are standing on the landings, stopping on the tops of jumps, cutting accross in-runs, etc.
surprisingly enough some racers do know how to use the park

Yeah I hear ya bailey. Park etiquette. At my locals there are guys that come flying through the park going mach 5 and cutting people off and just straight out snakin peoples turn at whatever it may be rail/box/kicker. Snowboarders and skiers alike. Those are the real dummeh's for sure.

every racer i've ever seen just chills in the park and doesn't even nail landing ramps. most of them have made fun of me while im in the park in my early stages and such a extreme hatred for the asshole who can't even put stuff down yet they chill in the biggest terrain park of the mountain!! (sunday river's rocking chair... huge air check out the pics) the spider spandex shit is really unnecessary. why cant it just be regular spandex (understanding that light clothing like spandex wins races) while practicing do we relaly need it though? i don't wear my racing shorts during practice!

lol.....spider spandex...lol....and yes while NOT! racing it so VERY not necessary for any one to wear it or for anybody to have to see them wearing it...lol

always fun to see the skiers without poles goin relly fast down the park barley controlling they're skis then go off the side of rail jumps and cant even land that. but ive been cut off by too many gay tourist snowbladers its so annoying.

and heres kind of wut i think. every mountain needs a regular park and a beginners park. the regular park u need to pass a test (grind a rail. clear a 15 ft table ect.) but the beginners park is there so the people that cant pass the tests can practice so they can pass. thats what i think should be done because that would be kind of nice. and a beginners park to practice new moves. never gona happen but thats my idea.

Hell yeah it is. Unfortunately my home mountains look like a damn battlefield with all the snowboarders sitting on their asses all the time. From the lift it really does look like a war zone....it's funny.Til you have to ride through the carnage...lol

Holy crap, the one thing that gets on my nerves the most is when ski racers use the kickers to the rails as jumps. I don't know of any of you guys have experienced this on your local mtn, but it drives me nuts, especially when they cut you off to do that.
I also agree with the beginner and intermediate park thing. We kind of have that at my local mtn. We have 3 smaller kickers next to the bigger tables, but every now and then you will get the people who think they can hit the bigger tables and just end up wrecking themselves, and 9 times out of 10 it's tourists from Phx (we call them Melvins). But all I can do is laugh when they eat it and then see them try again only to eat it again. You would think they would learn after the first time of wrecking themselves.

yeah that's another thing they do, use the kickers and then do a spreadeagle.... WOW! hot air man.
