Anyone have feedback on these streetskis? They say you can carve with them.

I have been using recreational rollerblading, but am no hot shot with them. I skibaord much better than skate. I am looking for something closer to skiboards for the off season.
Thanks,

Those things are the shiznit!!! The new school ones have sot of an h block in it. You could modify that so easy to make that area flat and turn it into a grind MONSTER!! They look way too fun. Gotta get some now.

someone should get a pair without bindings and try to mount skiboard bindings on them.

im not good with inline skates but can ski much better also.
ive seen those.. they're funny looking. why do they use poles in the little video at the top-right?
ive also seen something that is like a treadmill but u ski-in-place instead of run/walk in place.

ouch...that could get ugly on the street though. To easy to catch a wheel or something and twist your knee out.Looks fun as hell though I think.

Yeah, I think those would be really sketchy to ride. Putting skiboard bindings prbly wouldn't work, because if you look at em the wheels sick up in the middle. Plus on those I'd prbly want them to release anyways. I must agree, the brakes have to go, but those are only there cause they just mount ski bindings onto em. They look like they COULD be fun, but more than likely they're one of those inventions that seems good but just isn't, like those sled dog skis are most likely.

By the way, if anyone decides to grab a pair, let me know how they go. I am so much better at skiboarding than I am at inlining and I must say, it would be freaking hillarious to see the looks people would give someone wearing those and skiboots in a skatepark somewhere.

Me too....Im gonna try a pair just for the hell of it. With a few mods to the grind area of course.

Why are you gonna mod the grind area? Do you want to flatten the H-block out or something?

No....I would rather try to make like some sort of replaceable flat plate or something so when you are sliding it would feel more like sliding on a ski instead of like an inline skate. Besides that look at the h-block. It's not very big and its not replaceable. So once you grind it away you have to buy a new pair.
