Screw The Typical Snowboarders

Just recently I got into a fight with a typical stoner shaggy ass punk of a snowboarder.

I built this sick kicker that launhes you pretty high and was practicing inverted tricks and the next thing I knew it a crowd of 30 snowboarders (14-18 years olds) camped my jump spot and were video taping. The boarders were going off it getting maybe 3 ft of air and crashign 3/4 of the time while getting taped.

Then the shit hit the fan

I went down the in run and a snowbaorder threw a snowball at me and hit me in the leg. I brushed it off and did a 720 flat spin. When I landed my friend asked the camera man if he got it on tape. The boarder responded " Fuck No, He's a skier"

I just about took my skis off and marched back up the hill. My friend convinced me to wait till next run.

On the next run I stopped infront of the group of 30 kids and took my skis off and threw my gloves and goggles down. I demanded that the person that threw the snowball and the camera man apologize. One kid stood up and told me to fuck off. I got right in his face infront of 30 + kids and told him to watch his mouth. He pushed me backwards...

I grabbed him by the throaght and slammed him into a box and hit him a few times. He grabbed my shirt and tried to sling me down the mountain only resulting with stretching out my shirt and getting another black eye. By the time he got up he started running up the hill, 3 guys held me back as I was swearing at him and trying to break loose.

He again tried to act cool (with a bloody nose and eye) and tried to tell me to leave. I walked right up the path grabbed my stuff and walked by him. Said "boo" and watched him cringe in fear. I got the the bottom of the run and decided to go for several reasons (like not getting arrested). Just before I was about to leave 10-12 boarders came up to me and thanked me for saying something and that he was a dick to everyone.

All and All my thesis is this. Even boarders hate boarders. Some boarders are kewl... But some just need their ASSES KICKED.

Totally agreed. The person that I ride with the most is a snowboarder because I don't know any skiboarders around here. I'm actually gonna teach him to skiboard this weekend, but him and a few others that I go with are totally cool about it, and even push me farther by telling me to try new stuff (like a cross mute which I'll be able to start hitting this weekend hopefully. Then again, I've had some boarders that I just sprayed as they fell right in front of me on some kicker. Boarders just need to remember, Mess with the best, die like the rest. Don't jack with skiboarders who can abuse you riding and fighting, hehe.

I agree with you, most snowboarders are jerks to skiboarders. When I first started skiboarding and hitting the park I would always get dirty looks from snowboarders. But now since I can show up all but 2 or 3 in the park, I'm getting respect from both snowboarders and twin-tippers.

I'd never gotten shit really until this year. It use to be if you could throw down no one would say anything, but it seems like so many more assholes keep coming to the slopes... I had at least 3 kids sayin shit to me today when i was riding, one tried to hit me when i was filming my friend, then he shouted to get the fuck outa the way, so i was like dude, don't be a fucking asshole, just ask me to move. I was ready to use my skiboard as a baseball bat at this fucker, but i just kept filming... I think greco put it best when he said its becoming a middle school cafeteria, because thats really what it is. Its fucked up cause pretty much all the good riders respect each other, its just these assholes that ride to be cool who fuck it over for everyone.

Good quote... snowboarders only recently have acted in this way, but i believe the more they talk the better they think they are even if they suck a fat one.

yeah...most snowboarders are assholes.. but its always fun to spray them with snow to really get em pissed :D
