One of the things I really missed from a few years back was the ratings chart. I'm not saying I don't like the charts now, I just think the older skiboards should be left on that chart, as well as the ones that SBOL doesn't sell. For example, I'd like to see how Summit 85's are compared to other boards, or the 8 hole boards like Blade 77, Atomics, and Alpinas rated next to Mix, Canon and Snowjam. You can't tell me you guys haven't ridden the boards, either. If they were sold, someone's ridden them, and can make the reviews, and sure, they may be "from one person's perspective" but they're BETTER THAN NOTHING!!
That chart kept me coming back to visit this site, and I know it holds a lot of other people here as well.
You might say, hell those boards aren't sold anymore! Well, that just makes the boards more worthwile. It'd be one thing to say the Brinton Gunderson Pro 99G's are "really nice" and "great boards" but it's a lot more to slap 5's on the board all the way across the chart.
The other competing website doesn't have this feature, and it will draw a lot of people to this site and the board selection. It would be interesting to see a skiboard with 1's all across the board, (hmmm, which could that be?) and others with all 5's.
Maybe another column for durability, and another for "manufactuere has been around for X years" would be great too.
just another idea.
