Anyone with experience with these boards and are they good?
Used a pair of Salomon Snowblades in Tremblant and hooked - did some research and found some good things about the Snowjams then bought a pair here with the Risers with Salomon 509, then a pair of Verse 4.99 boots.
I tried it tonight and it was fun. However, there seemed to be some sort of fitment or adjustment issue that made me get VERY tired very easily. I found my thighs constantly contracting and difficult to relax.
Has anyone had similar problem and what is the usual cause?
I also put the boards bottom to bottom and found that they were not flat - there is a very obvious arch at the bottom. Is it normal?
Thanks a lot!

The arch between the boards is completely normal. You'll see the same thing on skis and snowboards, it's just the way that they're made. As for the thighs getting tired easily, one thing that I had a problem with was the canting (angle that the cuff of the boots are at) of my boots. Some boots will allow you to change the canting, and doing this helped my thighs out quite a bit. Other than that I don't know, but I'm sure others will prbly know more.
I experienced the same thigh pain using rental boots and Head Big Easy skiboards for the first time. My knees were bent and forward too much, and the boots had many pressure points. Before I went out my second time, I bought Verse 4.99 boots. I again rented the Big Easy skiboards, and took a more upright posture as recommended in the forums, and there was no thigh pain, but my feet still hurt at the arches. Sidas Volcano insoles took care of the foot pain.
I rented the Big Easys another four times and never again experienced any thigh or foot pain.
I enjoyed skiboarding so much that I just bought Snojam 90s (75s for the wife) with Spruce Risers and C509 bindings. I positioned the bindings so my boot centermark was 1/4" behind the center of the board as recommended on the forums. Just tried them out yesterday and today, and this setup seems to work well and I had a blast. With a fresh wax job, they were fast, and carved well in icy conditions (I only slid out once). I enjoy cruising, the ocassional race with a skier or snowboarder, and I do NOT plan on any terrain park activity. The Snowjams fit my needs very well.
