So this is starting pretty early but I want to get to skiboard with a ton of people, all at once. Not just like 5 skiboarders. Im talking like 15+. I figured we would meet up for a day, or even a weekend and shred the gnar sometime mid to late feb. If anyone wants to suggest a mountain Im open for anything. I wanna meet people from all over. I live in PA so im all for going to a little mountain to take it over for the day. My home mountain Roundtop would work for me, but im up for anything.
Any Ideas?
and whos in?

I am in for a day trip at Roundtop or something else in PA. I was looking at some mtns in mid atlantic and did find one in WV (Timberline) www.timberlineresort.com. However it would be about 4.5hrs from Baltimore and might be best for an overnighter.

I don't necessarily like boulder but whatever is more convenient. I propose
Roundtop
and
Bear Creek
maybe i will make a pole once we get 5 mountains and whichever one wins.

I looked up a few places that would be within 3-4hrs. I found 5 places that looked okay but have only been to Roundtop. Maybe someone can add some comments if they have been.
1. Bear Creek (about 3hr)
http://www.bcmountainresort.com/winter/
2. Blue Mtn (3hr) - reviews mentioned crowded on weekends
http://www.skibluemt.com/SkiBlue/index.aspx
3. Elk Mtn (4hr)
http://www.elkskier.com/
4. Sno Mtn (Little over 3hr)
http://www.snomtn.com/
5. Round Top (little over 4hr from island)

Looks like Bear could be the best.
Lets get something going

I was born on Long Island and moved when my Dad got transferred to North Carolina. I was 17 when I left so a long time ago. Massapequa, NY.

Sounds like there are a bunch of Long Islanders. Your closest resort is Mountain Creek, which happens to be the home resort of FlowTeam rider Art Jennings, as well as Chris Smith, Andy Citer, and Adam Wysmuller. It is also the home resort for new riders like Ethan Manis, Colt Manis, Cody Walsh, and Bryan Walsh. Sounds like the Long Islanders could get to Creek and have a nice solid crew to ride with regularly.

Mountain Creek is my home mountain, but I might be able to come to a meet that's not too far and on the right day(s). So my vote is Mountain Creek, for what that's worth.

A great time for this would actually be the last week of February. Now that the Open isn't happening, we need a replacement of sorts. This could also be sort of like the East Coast's response to Shredfest III, since a lot of people not going are here in the East.

yea if i had a vote it would be mountain creek
2nd choice hunter, might not have the good terrain park but at least theres some nice runs if u dont feel like hitting the park all day

Just an extra hour for me to Mt Creek which is not to bad. I can do that. Hunter is pushing 5 hrs for me so little longer for a day trip. End of February 26th?
Bear Creek is 3 hrs for PA/MD/NY riders that have posted.

Except for those of us who are going to SF3, it would kinda suck to miss an east coast meetup. How about the weekend before SF3? And my vote will be for Bear Creek since I have a pass there, but I'm open to traveling.

Or, you guys can continue a tradition that was started last year. Do a 2011 Creek-to-Creek Meet. Last year Jeaho and Bec traveled with me for some good times. Go for the weekend before SF3, and do Saturday for one and Sunday for another. Just a suggestion ;)

That might be it.. This thread might be deleted to start an official Creek to Creek meet..
Start at bear on a saturday then sleep wherever, then creek on sunday.
Feb 19th-20th will be the date.. Hows that sound.
