what do u think of useing wavy pvc plastic for a box

try to find flat pvc, that wavy stuff doesnt look like it can take much abuse

pvc gets very brittle in the cold so if it isnt reinforced, it will shatter

That corrugated plastic will not work at all bro. If you have a home depot near you or something they sell plexiglass sheets in like 2 x 3 ft. That stuff slides insane and its very cheap and durable. Just be careful screwing it down.Remember to countersink your holes for the screw heads and go VERY slowly so you don't crack it. Once it is all in place it will last a very long time.

any one hear of makrolon? it is a polycarbonate sheet.

Yes I have heard of it. It has a shit load of applications and is super durable. With that said it is also incredibly expensive. But wouldnt that be cool to have a huge box with that on top of it. I bet it would be so smooth to slide on.

i have a couple small pieces they gave them to me at a awards thing for my go-kart side panels

You need a lot more than just a couple pieces though.
The whole top needs to be covered. Thats when it gets expensive. I tell ya plexiglass is just as good and still very durable.
