I still have never heard back from Mix regarding my delaminating ALP skis. They are completely delaminated now and worthless. I am very dissapointed in Mix of course but also in Skiboardsonline. I understand if Greco cant get Seth to honor his warranties but if that is the case then Skiboardsonline should never carry Mix products again. There are several of us who got screwed by Mix and the distributors like Skiboards.com and SBOL should be outraged that their customers are being treated so poorly. Dont make excuses for Mix, demand that the honor their warranties.

how can you be dissapointed with SBOL? its not like greco knew ahead of time that the mix boards would be crap... in this kind of business with this sport inperticular, shops like SBOL have to take whatever they can get product wise. reason being is because companies are slowly dieing away and in order to stay in business, they need to sell something!

so only be dissapointed with mix. greco did nothing but take a little gamble to keep sbol living strong.

Todd,

You're right and so is Bailey. It's going to be tough for Mix to salvage a business of making skiboards by the way they've treated everyone. And for us to ever carry their products again we'd have to know that ALL of their problems have been addressed and their past customers have been offered something that is satisfying to them. Otherwise why would anyone ever take the risk of being their customer again?
Bottom line, I hear what you're saying and before we carry Mix again (if they ever make boards again) they have to make it right with their past customers.

Best regards,

Greco

the situation with MIX is sad,... the factory which made mix, fucked mix future... but i hope its not, and there will be some companies making real skiboards, for now - i think there is noone who make them realtime!!

-canon is stopped for a while
-mix have problems
-groove is gone

Actually I feel real sorry for the agents that supplied Mix products to the public. Private emails have shown me that both Doc Roberts and Greco feel really bad about what has happened.
Still, tomorrow will allways be more important than yesterday.
Other manufacturers have been motivated by the demand Mix demonstrated, so next season, support them instead.

The thing that fucked mix is not all the distributor. Shitty customer service and not even aswering your customers calls for help is what killed mix. Problems can be solved and boards can be reproduced to right the situations. The bond and respect of your customers and distributors cannot be fixed so easily once you screw them over royally.

Don't worry there will be new things on the horrizon ;-)
Skiboarding will still have a future.

By the way Canon is not stopped. They are still getting the new facility up and ready to manufacture.

Thanks Greco for your continued support of the sport and your customers.
I sure hope Mix gets its act together as my ALP's, before they delaminated, were the best boards I have had. If they have thrown in the towel hopefully another company will decide that 110cm boards are innovative and in demand. I have heard rumors of several new companies planning to produce new boards next season. I sure hope that they learn from Mix's mistakes in lousy customer service.

I've been screwed over by Mix, too. I have some delaming BWPs. I, unlike most people, actually was contacted by Seth, and he told me there were some sets left and that he would send me a replacement. Of course, I haven't heard a word from him since then.

I have heard rumors that Epic is taking over for Mix??
Does this mean that Epic is honoring the warranties??
I still have not received replacement for my delaminating boards.
