lol....Im not a very political person but I would tread lightly when bashing the President of the USA allz. People can get VERY offended when it comes to their leaders being trashed even if they don't like them. He travels with that much security because it's not uncommon (as in our history) for attempts to be made on a presidents life. Especially right now in this time of war. I respect what you are saying though. It sounds like a very big inconvenience to a lot of people. As it is wherever he goes. They always block streets close things it's all in the name of taking precaution.
hmm...ok, but i heard some shit bout him here few times, so, i feel that not much like that person . i mean - here in SBOL, and i just dont like that he is going here to us like - he is visiting us, but residents must sit in homes or go away from city - col isnt it - and i think most of SBOL members dont like that person - haha..leader..:)

I try to keep me opinions to myself in these matters but Tommy, our (U.S.) government was spawned from yours. And many of the troubles we see today are historically rooted in the imperial nature of your government. Yeah, I did it. I opened the can o' worms.

I'm not defending anything. I am not fond of any government at the present time, including my own. I'm just saying that the short memory of our instant news culture tends to forget the long view of how we got here. Power and greed are wonderful things!

Haven't been there in years. It's about 3 hours from where I live. Takes forever to go northeast to southwest in VT but that may be worth it for one last hoorah.

I'm supposed to be in Boston next weekend but I'll see if I can skip it. Between work and my girls I haven't been out in two months so one more day sounds good to me.
