He was on ski's? Man....I don't know how he would do it without completely killing his ski's. The bases would be hammered after that kind of grind. Only way he could do it MAYBE without killing his bases would be a shit load of wax on whatever cement structure he was grinding. Build it up enough and I guess your basses would only be touching wax. Can you post the clip?

that would be a hell of a lot of wax though...

I dont know about all kinds of cement, but i hit a couple little ledges, and they actually slid pretty decent. They were steep and pretty smooth, and they didn't really do anything to my bases.

well guys besides the whole sticking thing you can get cement so smooth what you do is you vibrate it so all the water comes to the top and then it dries really smooth if any yall do any construction like me. but other than it beeing as smooth as sheet metal you would stick in the winter without wax i would think.

dude its like this, the ski industry pays pro riders to grind cement ledges , yeah it hurts the bottoms of there skis but they get new pairs right after the shoot, kids see pro riders doing it in vid and mags and say thats kool im going to try it much less ruining there skis forcing them to buy brand new ones. i read that in a ski mag im not making it up.

Yeah I think your right rise...That would not suprise me one bit. The sponsored rider can have all the ski's he needs for anything. It's just another way to get ya to buy more ski's.
