It's a bit pricey at $600 and it's new and so there are not many reviews yet but the features are great. It's only a 1/6" CCD but for normal shooting that's fine. You can get 1/3" CCD's cheaper than $500 but this new model is obviously geared toward "our type of people".

I think it's the marketing department at Samsung that makes it the "sport" model. The only real feature that makes it different from other cameras is the attached remote lens. Not sure about the non-slip surface but I haven't seen others advertise that as a feature before so it may add some value too. Again, the imaging device is not the best and you can find a better quality image for cheaper but that remote lens is pretty neat.

From the website :

Suitable for outdoor activities

Camera body is pocket-size and offers a non-slip surface. The included external remote lens offers wide-angle capabilities, is weather-resistant, and allows for hands-free shooting.
