View Full Version : buying a skiboard
What do u think i should do????
I'm 5'11 and im an imtermediate skiboarder.
Should I...
A) Buy the MNP on sale
B)wait till the season starts to buy the new stuff.
C)Keep my 2003 snow jam 90's.
Is it worth it to get a new skiboard?
Thanks Mike

I would go for the MNP's. You will never find a better skiboard for that price than any older Line model. Generally, the construction will be as good, if not better, than any newer model. The only downside is that I believe you have no warranty, but for the price you are paying you could not even touch a 05/06 model. I'm sure if there is a problem, Greco can take care of it.
The MNP's would be perfect for your size. The SJ 90's are a bit too short, if you want to start progressing this year then a longer board will definatly make you ride better.
I ride Line 5-0's I got on clearance for $189, they are a bit shorter (90cm), but I am also shorter than you, and light....not to mention I have been skiboarding for three years (this will be my forth). I must say they are really great, top notch boards.

Yeah....you can't beat the price for the MNP's and they are some of the sickest boards ever made. I just got mine. You will love the pro bindings as well. Very solid. Very fine adjustment points to get the perfect fit for any size boot.
and yes Greco always takes care of the people who buy from him so...there really is no downside.
