I just got the winter brochure from one of the bigger snow type stores in the UK, snowandrock. They have a section (albeit small) for skiboard gear (yes..... they got the term right!) and they are not limited to just salomon, but they have line boards as well.

I looked around alot last year trying to find boards in the UK which werent just crappy salomon and basically failed, so it is nice to see a major snowsports outfit here are actually showing a bit of support!

that's good news...however, just so you know, line changed their focus a few years back and are now making and marketing skiboards the way salomon does and are not supporting the sport buy sponsoring riders, videos, events, etc... i guess the the biggest problem with their new boards is that you either have to use 8 hole crappy plastic bindings or their expensive, heavy releasable reactor bindings. they have gone away from the standard 4x4 binding pattern. last season they did however make a few pairs with 4x4 for japan that doc was able to get some of and sell here in the states.

so i guess if you have no other options and can't order from U.S. mail order shops then it's better than nothing.

I relaised line had changed, but didnt know they had gone quite that far. I guess more important is that the increased choice (as well as the correctish terminology) will mean that those who dont know anything at all, realise skiboards are not just a toy and it is a growing sport on its own.

i refuse to buy from snowandrock purely because theyre prices are way to high usually whatever the price is somewhere else add a third on and youve got a snowandrock price. and they also dont care about you, you buy stuff you go if you have a problem they dont care.

Ive actually done quite well with S&R tommy..... thier sale stuff wasnt badly priced at all, I got a few xmas things from them this summer.... as a for instance, they have dainese back protection vests a good £40 cheaper than anywhere else....

To be honest I found ellis brigham more expensive in general. Unfortunately being in NI and not mainland UK, the choices I have are a bit more limited!

True, Norway is the fourth largest city in the UK. Exeter is the largest, followed by London, Pontypandy, then Norway.

sorry ruin your thread buns but snow and rock have actually been stocking Line skiboards for about 4/5 years now. I few years ago you could even pick up a copy of ben's first movie biohazards, and all of boomer's frontside inc films. If anything they've moved further away from skiboarding since then seeing as you cant get hold of any of the movies anymore.
