Ok. Sounds dumb. I went skiing in Europe and rented a pair of skiboards. I loved them and want to get a pair. I need to know who made them but I dont recall.
All I can say is they were red, wide and round at the ends, very tapered in the middle and emblazoned with the word USA. I have tried looking up USA and skiboard as keywords in GOOGLE and I can tell you, USA is not helpful keyword!
Im not sure, but id say theres a good chance they were K2s.

Did they allso say "Big Air"?
In that case, they are allmost surely the same K2 Big Air "blades" I started out with in 1999/2000. 80 cm long.

sounds like the K2 big airs, or maybe the canon big easy?
check the skiboard database at www.skiboardmagazine.com maybe you will find them.

Yep...they for sure sound like K2. Get a pair of real skiboards and I bet you love them even more than the K2. Like a pair of MNP's or even snow jams. Either one will be better than the K2's.

Thanks everybody. Now I remember, they were K2 Big Air like you suggested. Fantastic!

They were really 80cm? I thought they were much shorter like 65cm? I ride the K2 Big Air and they were ok, but the foam core could be felt with each landings, plus the bindings were plastic! When I landed it sounded like I was riding on styrofoam planks. It made that foam sound.

I tried meassuring mine once, they came out as 78-79 cm, but I figure theres a certain margin of error when it comes to meassuring with a plastic ruler.
I cant really imagine these still being available for sale though...

I hope not, they have cheap foam cores! It sounds cheap everytime I landed a big jump. It sounds like one's riding on styrofoam planks.
