just to compare - SnowJam 2006 90's with extreme2 bindings = $235.00

I guess not too many people like red/white/blue "BLD" graphic.

That's probably what hurt the sales on that board, considering it's one of the better 90cm's out there.

Yeah..what does BLD stand for anyway? People forget that part gets covered up when you put the bindings on.

unfortunately i believe it stands for "Blade"

I got those and I think the design is kinda cool, I like the colors. That would be cool if I can make my own, but until then it's OK. :) I bought the Snowjam skiboards for their performance and not how they looked like though.

good on ya. one should always choose performance over looks when it comes to skiboards. because really it's all that matters. but it is nice to have something to look at while in the lift line.

It's true that great looks are a plus and since I go to an Art school I should know that. :)

i have the older snojams which had pretty nice graphics (they kinda look airbrushed), but they broke, so i wrote the company and they gave me the BLD snowjams for FREE
the BLD snojams may have bad graphics but theyr performance is excelent. and SBOL is selling them at a good price, later i might spraypaint over the graphics or something. but for now they are fine.

Looks are what what draw new people to a board, and they are the final decion factor when people are considering purchasing one.

Sure, you're right in saying they offer no performance enhancing characteristics, but there's a reason BLD Snowjams are $115.00, and it's not because those boards don't perform.

jus wonderin if the newer jams maybe have better performance, durability, etc.
or is it just the graphic?
