The season is already getting ready to kick off here in Colorado. In addition to the already high stoke levels with the release of Revel8's 2012 boards we are all even more stoked out west to know that it will be another La Nina year. That means that the north slope in Colorado, Tahoe, SLC, the northeastern United States, and British Columbia will all be getting pounded again this year with lots of freshies. Breckenridge, after coming off of a record setting season, will be opening huge to celebrate its 50th anniversary.

So, if you are free at the beginning of November come on out to Colorado and join Matt Hein, Brandon Enouf, Brett Connor, and myself for the opening days at are local resorts.

Arapahoe Basin: To Be Announced (late-October) - Always one of the first three to open in the US

Loveland: To Be Announced (late-October) - Always one of the first three to open in the US

Wolf Creek: To Be Announced (late-October) - Always opens with plenty of fresh pow

Copper Mountain: November 4

Keystone: November 4 - Opens with the biggest park early-season in North America

Breckenridge: November 11 - Opens with the biggest jump line early-season in North America

Durango: To Be Announced (mid-November)

If I am free, count me in for Wolf Creek for sure. I'll see what I can do about the rest.

I've got two weeks of vacation to use by the end of the year. I may have to come out, provided someone can ferry me back and forth from an airport. All just depends on how "in advance" we can get the dates to drive flight costs down.

Keep updating this dave.

Yeah, bro. We can definitely grab you from the airport. There is even a service that runs from the airport to where we are at called CME (Colorado Mountain Express). Your best bet is probably the Breck opening weekend because last year Brandon and I did Breck on Friday and Loveland Pass and Keystone on Saturday. This year we'll probably do the same and fit A-Basin in on Sunday. We couldn't do A-Basin on Sunday last year because we got our passes red flagged out first day at Keystone, haha.

I will prob have to work on opening day but any skiboarders coming out to copper this season should send me a message with there dates. As dave mentioned we have quite the crew of riders in CO now and we plan on filming alot.

A-Basin was a blast this weekend. Brandon, Matt and I hit it up and hiked the park for five hours. Talk about getting your legs worked. We are really stoked on opening weekend at Keystone. Come join us.
