The season is already getting ready to kick off here in Colorado. In addition to the already high stoke levels with the release of Revel8's 2012 boards we are all even more stoked out west to know that it will be another La Nina year. That means that the north slope in Colorado, Tahoe, SLC, the northeastern United States, and British Columbia will all be getting pounded again this year with lots of freshies. Breckenridge, after coming off of a record setting season, will be opening huge to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
So, if you are free at the beginning of November come on out to Colorado and join Matt Hein, Brandon Enouf, Brett Connor, and myself for the opening days at are local resorts.
Arapahoe Basin: To Be Announced (late-October) - Always one of the first three to open in the US
Loveland: To Be Announced (late-October) - Always one of the first three to open in the US
Wolf Creek: To Be Announced (late-October) - Always opens with plenty of fresh pow
Copper Mountain: November 4

Breckenridge: November 11 - Opens with the biggest jump line early-season in North America
Durango: To Be Announced (mid-November)
