Yah, so ive mentioned before and it says in my profile that last season (04-05) was my first on skiboards. And at the end of the season i bought a pair of Salomon Snowblades, which i realized the other day when i discovered this site are not exactly the best quality.
Anyway, so last season i was able to do jumps and get a few feet of air without falling (about 4 and a half feet im told was the highest i got without falling on my ass :p ) and i was able to do knee tucks (like on the jump tuck my knees up, and grab my knees with my hands...not sure if there is a name for this) pretty consistently. I could also slide on blocks, not just the flat ones but the ones that drop down to a slant at the end also. i was very proud of that ;) . I can also spin very well just riding down the mountain, because i did a lot of just regular trail riding outside of the parks.
So this season my goal is to do be able to A) grind, B) For grab tricks - safety, nose grab, method, and tail, C) For spins - 180, 360, half cab, and D) better control at high speeds. Are those too far reaching or too easy if im planning to go 5-12 (most likely around 8-10) days this year?
Also, just one last thing...i know this has been a long post. About the Snowblades, will i be able to do those tricks on snowblades and when i transition to a better pair of boards will it be difficult to learn the differences with a fully centered balance?
Thanks a bunch:D
