I'd like to hear some honest feedback on people who have ridden both and there comparisons. Is there really much difference. Does the third strap really add much more support from the rocker bindings? Is all the raised height make it more difficult in any way or easier for carving?
I've snowboarded for the last 12 years or so and have a lot of aggressive Inling background looking at ordering the KTP's but not sure what boot I plan to wear. Would like to keep using my snowboard boots but if it really hinders the use on skiboards ill get ski boots. I plan to ride pretty aggressively in the board park but still love to carve down the slopes.
Thank you for any feedback just want some help making a decision before I place my order.

dunno if you saw this thread:

I have Full Tilt Booters and Receptor non release bindings ,
I have Spruce Release risers and used them with the Full Tilt ski boots,
I have K2 Thraxis Snowboard boots and Rockerbinding ..... I have ridden all three , I think they all provide equal and excellent control over skiboards
Pros of Rocker binding - you can use your soft snowboard boots .. it does provide the same support as a hard ski boot in a non release binding ... the stack height is not much higher then the equivalent ski boot , non release set up , and same height or somewhat lower then Spruce riser , release set up .
Cons of Rocker binding , you have to strap in with three straps which is more cumbersome then clipping in with one lever , non release hardboot binding , or stepping in with a Spruce release set up .
I like the Rocker binding because I get to use soft snowboard boots, and because I have a more "road feel " then in hard boots ... and because it is cool and I am a very old dude who likes to pretend he is young and look cool ! I do not mind strapping in once in the morning and once after lunch ... I do not take them off and on otherwise during the resort day ..
Please see the Faq section in my signature. Rocker is the only turn key solution available right now. GGO will have a product later this season. Different soft boot binding solutions will have a different feel, just like ski boot setups will feel different from soft boot setups.
Oh and riser height is variable, it isn't necessarily higher then any other setup.
