I thought that was funny too. This site "feels" like a friendly neighborhood store. Skiboards.com "feels" like a Microsoft business. Both sites have friendly staff though.

I try to buy from here when I can (I got my skiboards here), but I liked the Full Tune Kit and Ski Socks they had, also they had a very good sale of Bomber bindings for $119.95 and they sell the very good Zardoz NotWax as a top coat.

I might buy the boots that are on here if I don't like my Tecnica Entryx 3 boots. I've never ridden in them though. I got it as a gift. I'm afraid my dad went a little cheap when he bought the boots, though they cost $200. I just hope they are comfortable. Anybody with experience on them?

honestly i dont know why so many people bash on skiboards.com

sure they have some crappy boards but i dont care what you say the new summits (which is made by skiboards.com) are probably gonna be one of the best skiboards ever made.

they are simply more mainstream about skiboarding. i don't agree with it but they are still dedicated to skiboarding.

they do try to push bigger companies to make better quality skiboards (the only reason fischer kept making the XXL for so long was because of them.)

buuut i still would only ever buy from sbol cause there are more familiar to me and carry better products for my liking. :)

I definately prefer the community feeling that SBOL has over skiboards.com. I at least have to say that at least they use the correct name for the boards, which makes them better than almost all other sites/companies out there. They were also the ones that had some weapons for sale a few months ago (still wish I would have had the case to snag a pair.)

I do not bash skiboards.com, I like both sites, but I like the "feel" of this site better though and try to buy from here when I can. Plus I e-mailed skiboards.com about three times for various bugs throughout their site.

Those Canadian kids can't read very well. ;) SBOL does have a much better environment than skiboards.com. And skiboards.com does tend to carry some not so top of the line gear.

i enjoy skiboards.com because they do sometimes have those hard to get boards i.e. those weapons t hat i picked up .... over all they aint bad they try to please

also, as skiboards.com is a bit more mainstream, hopefully more people will really get into skiboarding... and eventually 'stumble' over SBOL :-) which in return will help the small companies that create and produce the fantastic skiboards sold and discussed here.

I know some of you probably do not agree with me, but i prefer peeps on snowblades that haven't got a clue about skiboards to ignorant skiers that slag us off.

i don't have any problems with snowbladers. snowbladers are people like us they just haven't been exposed to real skiboards yet.

as for people who slag us off i just ignore 'em and continue to rip/enjoy real skiboards.

actually the people who slag us off are usually slagging on snowbladers and are usually impressed by skiboarders. weird.

I found one place in web - russian - there is really big comunity - and they all discussing abou ""ONLY"" snowblades, they ski with sticks, and when i saw that army :( "carving ppl - snowblades+sticks" i felt bad, and i cant do nothin to half of them, they like those narrow things, and they do not need any real skiboards - its other story! other half of them - may buy some, if only i speak with them (what i'm already doin)
