West Michigan, Saturday 1/7

Got my Revolts in last night, and I'm planning on a quick trip out to one of the local hills this Saturday to put them through their paces, and get used to skiing again after 5 years of snowboarding.

I was planning on hitting little ol' Cannonsburg, the closest hill to me in Grand Rapids, but Boyne Mountain and Crystal Mountain (I use the word "mountain" lightly in both cases) are definitely close enough and quite a bit more fun.

I'll be up in petoskey for a long weekend, hitting up nubs nob on saturday. Only 45 minutes further north than boyne mountain.

Might I suggest Caberfae Peaks? It's about mid-way between Crystal and Bittersweet, and has more vertical than either. http://caberfaepeaks.com/

My as-of-yet-unused season pass says Caberfae sounds good.

I tried Cabberfae last year. I perfer Crystal better. Its only a 1/2 hour more for me. Still unsure on whats going on this weekend. Guys from work are supposed to go skiing at bittersweet but no one knows whats going on. Would you feel like going on Sunday up to Crystal? Shell has the buy a tank of gas and ski for free thing going on now. Bee and my self have season passes there though. If you guys want to tag along its all good.
