Spent about 6 hours on them. Maybe 35 runs or so. Still have to try on nice groomed snow. Only had frozen granular, crud and mash potatoes to run on.

In any case, I'm retiring my Bigfeet 63's and going to the Brazen's Pocket Rock-It 56's for snow skates...LUV THEM, will buy about 6 to 8 pair!

Yep, short. they are the shortest I will go.
I would try out some 45's on perfect groomed snow. But I'm pretty comfortbale with the 56's. My main boards are 90 and I go up to 99's. All non release, so I stay within the classical standards of skiboards.

How do they handle in pow? They're pretty sweet looking.

I'm in the east. We don't get much pow. Don't think they would be much good if your looking for pow boards. 56 is not much float.

Here's my reply to the specs on the Teoli 90's . They are designed after a line 5 board. I asked them if they planned on making longer boards but he left it out. Be nice if they'd manufacture a custom board. Just ask for purchase price. It's in the link.

I figure that just curious. They look like they make some very good stuff.

It's nice to see another company joining the skiboard market. The 56's in particular are nice to see since 75cm is was the previous lower limit.

They mainly do custom orders... and mostly snowboards, but he does so skiboards too; so whatever size & graphic you come up with. No intentions at all to compete with SBOL though... does mostly snowboards anyways and just wants to do custom work.
Be interesting to see what he comes up with though and how he constructs his boards! so far Revel 8 is the cats meow hands down!!!! No harm for folks doing what they love... making things.

Hi everyone! I just thought I'd take the time to explain a little about our company and what we do. We are a small manufacturing company in San Diego, specializing in snowboards. We build quite a few boards and skis for other brands, and we're developing our own product line currently. The 56cm and the 90cm skiboards were a custom order for one of our customers, and we really hadn't thought about producing them...until now that is.
We will never produce large numbers since each pair we build are very labor intensive, most include custom topsheet graphics according to the riders request and are seriously built from the very best materials available on earth. We take a lot of pride in what we do, all of our products are warrantied for 3 years from manufacturing defects. We will also build complete one of customs for any of you, full camber, materials and dimensions being called by the rider is a 3 to 6 week development schedule, 15 to 20 drawings, computer simulated flex and pullout testing, form and cassette tooling set up then core cutting and first article pressing to iron out any last issues. That pair is then destroyed in the name of "science" and your pair comes next.
It's done because we love the sport, believe me...I'll never get rich doing it. If any of you have any questions or just want to chat, I'm almost always available so fire away.
Have an awesome winter! :D

56 cm and 90 cm? seriously?
maybe they should have done a little bit of market research before...
These were Brazen's first custom SB orders. Someone had to pay for the mold and development fees. If someopne had paid for a 83.5cm mold...that would be what was first produced.
You can get whatever size you like. You just have to pay for the mold and development fees....and it aint cheap guys!
90's are the best length for a one board quiver. If I could only have one board it would be 90's. If I was into big jumps, rails, then would go with 98's.
56's are the same as 63 Bigfoot sans the toes. Nothing in the world like Brazens 56's...Nothing! If your a skater, you should be on some 56's. I can't get enough of them. Just wish Brazen could crank them out faster. Their stuff is all hand made.
Now, if the snow is rough, the 56's are not going to ride that great. But generally you can use them in most eastern conditions.
I'd never go for 130 skiboards. 101 is the cutoff more or less for non release. After that they are just short skis. If I went to 130, I'd go all the way with longer twin tips with poles.
56's are good for skaters. Long boards cripple the skater with too much cushion and you lose some of your balance skills with long planks.
I only stock 3 lenghts 56, 90, 98...all with non release Bombers. Do have some 75 loaners with non release Line FFcams. Best quick adjusting binding ever made. No tools needed for adjusting. Can fit any boot in 10 - 15 sec.
