I set em up myself.. seemed fine.. is that ok?

do I need a ski shop to do it?

Is there anything tricky or unintuitive about it that I would need a real tech to do for me?

the only thing tricky about it is the forward pressure setting. if you think you have got that correct then you should be good.

you could always stop in to a shop on your way to the mtn. and have them check your work, they shouldn't charge anything for it.
