Wjeong posted this video of Valmorel getting back up onto his skiboards, in another thread (http://www.skiboardsonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12447&page=1#en).
I was intrigued by how easy it looked and practiced it a few times myself at the snow dome.
Requires very little effort! :)

I suppose it is easy, but that looks rough on the knees, no?
The still shot of the video makes poor Wendell's leg look broken!

I didn't find it rough on my knees when I tried the technique. Maybe because the slope on the piste assists?

That's Valmorel. :)

Good to hear, it does look awkward.
And oops... ;)
It's actually a very easy way to get up, worked out or me! The steeper the slope the easier it is too.

If lying on your side, why not just push yourself up with one arm in order to stand up perpendicularly to the slope. This seems overly fancy of a way to get up, ahah.

Sometimes your arms just aren't long enough to work. Usually as you get older the arms get shorter, weaker, and just don't seem to work. When that happens, this will get you back on your feet.
