hi! I rode ski for 7 years and last year i decided to ride ski board and i loved it.
so i decided to buy my own skiboard.
I'm in between intermediate to expert level. :P
i'm interested in four skiboards listed below
-Line Mike Nick Pro 98cm Skiboards
-Line Bullet 95cm Skiboards
-Canon 2004 99cm M7 Skiboards
-SnowJam 2006 Scorpion 90cm Skiboards
So which one would you buy and y??
also can anyone suggest high quality ski boards if i missed them?

the MNP's will probably be your best bet

i've ridden all 4 of those and my favorite is the mike nick pro. i like to go fast and carve and the mnp does this the best, really it's effortless, it's like they are on rails. the m7's are great too but i have to go with the mnp's.

-Line Mike Nick Pro 98cm
If they're anything like the Line Pro 98's of 2 years ago, they are extremely good, well rounded boards. They're symmetrical, well built, great flex, cut, camber, and width to match. You can't go wrong with them.
-Line Bullet 95cm
I like them but only for certain places, and certain days. And those places are in well groomed areas where I just wanna cruise the slopes. They're not good for park, they're hard to ride fakie, and they're too skinny to ride on anything off perfect groom. So, as a second set of boards, they're great. If you want to race people, Line Bullets can give you the speed you want. As your only set of boards, though, I'd have to recommend against them.
-Canon M7 99cm
Don't know much about these boards but heard great things about them.
-Snowjam TT90's
Any Snowjams are great boards, probably except the 99's, which I think are too skinny for their length. There's only a few things that keep them from getting a perfect 10 in my book, though. The first is the directional placement-they're not symmetrical boards, and the second is their flex-they're extremely thick and lack flex, making them a little slow in the response. But that's not a big deal, they're still great boards regardless.

Where did you see Canon M7 boards? I like them too, but don't seem to find them on the web anymore...

How easy is it to mount bindings? Or is it just better to let a pro do it for you?

if you're talking about non-release bindings then you can do it yourself, it's very simple. for release bindings you might want a pro to adjust 'em for you.
but the beauty of the 4x4 universal insert pattern is it's a breaze to put 'em on and off.

line stopped making good boards in 2002. so even if there were new line boards coming (which i don't think there are) they would still not be anywhere near as good as their boards from back in the day (ie:mnp's and bullets)

I agree with that the quality of the recent boards isn't as good as the older MNP and bullet boards. However, Line will be bringing out skiboards this season. The US Line site isn't up yet for this season, but the UK version is: Line 2005/2006 skiboards (http://www.lineskis.co.uk/h/n/BUY/hardware/ALL/266//)
Pretty ugly if you ask me - get yourself a buggy MNP!

According to the UK site it looks like both the fly and the pro have non release bindings and it almost looks like there is a 4x4 pattern on them. They could be 8 hole but it does look like 4. That would be weird to see them come back with a 4 hole pattern.

the non standard pattern for the reactor's is very close to the 4x4 but just different enough so you can't use any other bindings.
