ok my best friend broke his leg today, jude (courtney's friend) i think broke his collar bone, ben wannamaker chipped his ankle on a trampoline, adam lynam broke his ankle on urban rails, derek (courtney's friend's cousin) did something weird in his back and there are probably more. If we keep up with this, so much for progressing. Any body else that i left out?

Nick - hairline fracture and partial ligament separation in left tibia
Andy - partial left MCL tear. Countless others that shouldn't have happened...

injuries are NOT cool. just got done with my 6 month check-up for my knee and the doc says I need a strength test before I can skiboard again to see if my muscle is adequate enough to keep me from getting injured again

all the more reason to lift for your legs. So many people I know do plenty of cardio and upper body lifting but fail to do any sort of strength training for their legs. Not only does it strengthen your muscles, but the supporting cast as well.

i lost a lot of muscle during my total of 8 weeks on crutches. a couple of months ago my left leg was so much smaller than my right one. My roommates said it should look bigger since it was swollen, but I had lost so much muscle that it was quite a bit smaller. I almost have all of my quad back, but my hamstring has a terribly long way to go. That's from the doc taking some hamstring as a replacement ACL.

hah i slipped backwards when i was grinding a log on a trail and this has been the 3rd day i havnt been able to straighten my arm.
I'm amazed that I havent gotten worse injuries than a few twisted joints, a hyperextended knee and frequent hoematoma (all less than a week to recover). My skis are taking all the punishment this year, I'm on my third pair now. So I guess my wallet has suffered the worst injuries this year around here...
