I've gotta go with Sunday River (http://www.sundayriver.com) (and yes I have been to Killington (http://www.killington.com)). Cannon Mountain (http://www.cannonmt.com), Loon (http://www.loonmtn.com), and even Waterville Valley (http://www.waterville.com) are all pretty good. Sometimes the best resort is the closest -- in my case that would be Wachusett (http://www.wachusett.com).

Tremblant is cool, the lifts move at a good pace and the people are friendly. Killington is dope if your staying there for a while and want good night life. I'm headed up to Burlington, VT MLK weekend, is Sugarbush better than Jay or other way around?

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of Killington; not nearly as big as it claims, horrible crowd dispersal, and all the terrain feels the same. I try to go to Pico whenever I'm around Killington. I've never made it up to Jay Peak (but that's #1 on my to do list when I get the time and money). My personal faves are stowe and sunday river.

Its not the size of the mountain that counts its the quality of the trails/glades. As they say, You can only ski one trail at a time. I'll be sking either Jay Peek on next Thursday and Sugarbush on that Saturday so hopefully good reports on both.
