yea so I got a pair of groms today and I was just curious what your opinions are on how they will perform.. Im 5'3, 90 pounds, i used to inline and i used my sisters ski boards in my backyard just jumping from the upper level to the lower and stuff and had good control and they were hella easy to do stuff on the first time I got on them.. just curious on how you think theyre gonna go on the mountain. I bought them mainly for the board park and freestyle stuff but im not sure how theyre gonna go in powder.
also, not that i care much of what people think about me but do you get very much crap for riding really tiny skis when your on the mountain at all?
lates.

You're riding lil skiboards? Wow, cool. I think you're probably the only one other than me that rides those. I havea pair of 75 cm Groove AF1's and I love them to ddeath for certain things they can do that the long boards (90 and 99) can't.
I think groms are more like 60 cm, aren't they? If you mean the Salomons. I've seen them in sportcheck, but only once on the mtn, some guy was just spinning on the ground all the way down the hill... I'm goin, "You must be pretty fuckin dizzy..."

Your 5'3", 90lbs riding 60cm Groms is virtually the same as me (6'2" 220lbs) riding 99cm BG Pros. Some of us around here bang the physics books hard enough to know that the mathematical bullshit that goes into what makes a skiboard and rider "do what they do" is completely relative to the size of both the skiboarder and the skiboard.
Put simply...I think the Groms are the right size for you. Not to say anything derrogatory...but are you 5'3" and 90 lbs due to being younger in age, or is that the final total you'll be for the rest of life? I only ask because Groms are usually a stepping stone for younger gen skiboarders who will eventually graduate into larger sizes.

hehe I do that on 99's and my record now stands on 23 times in a row, almost started puking when I finally crashed, at least the people in the lifts had a lot of fun watching it
