i wouldnt' try one on skiboards until you have them down on tramp or diving board. and yeah you definitely have to tuck your knees, that's key. they are actually pretty easy, i can do them and rodeo's into water of practically anything, no problem. the tough part is getting the nerve to try them on snow while moving and hitting a jump. :p

here's what happens if you don't pull your knees into your chest.

i can do front, back, and rodeo on trampolines but ive never tried em on snow...
dude if you can do a backflip on a trampoline then you can do it on skiboards period.... when you go off the jump try and look at your ass or something of that nature then when your head comes around spot your landing,, your head does most of the work for you,
ps. dont hesitate the smallest hesitation will kick your ass off any size jump. its all about the follow through

I just learned them on skiboards last week at Bear Creek with Dave L's Help. they are extremely easy. the advice i can give you that helped me is...
Commit. once you start dont doubt yourself
-Dave
Just throw it. dont question yourself
-Adam
Protect your nuts at all costs

Grow a pair. then when u land it. u'll wonder if u had them to begin with.
