Has anyone been able to test the Revel8's in powder? I went to the store today to check out the Line Pro's that they have there and they did end up being the quickmount pattern so I'm going to have to get different boards. I don't really want to wait until Febuary for the Lokens but the Low tips on the Revel8's worry me for riding in powder, and since I'm out west most of what I ride ends up being powder.

not yet but i think they will preform really well. when i used to live in tahoe i rode m7's all the time in deep powder and had no problem and the m7's tips were about the same if not lower.

I'll be back in VT tomorrow and out on Thursday. There's talk of more snow coming but I know some stashes that probably haven't been hit if it doesn't. I will report back on the powder performance as soon as I try them out.

The front tips of m7's are about 3.3 cm which I don't see as being enough to cause any difference. What I was more worried about were the rear tips because I've landed a few 180's in powder but I doubt I'll be able to do that on the revolts. Oh well, guess I'll just learn how to 360 sooner. I'll see if I can round up enough to snag a pair of revolts and then I'll be able to give everyone a good review of their deep powder performance.
