So I come from the rollerblading community where everyone is always making little edits and trailers and videos for online viewage. I am new to this sport, do you guys do that alot of is it pretty rare? I want to see what kind of stuff people are doing. I guess I could buy a video, but I am just looking for amatuer stuff online for right now.

i think it's just cuz it's easier to film skating then skiboarding.. when you're riding you got the snow to deal with, and riding around with it.. it's not really as hard to take a camera to a skatepark or wherever someones sessioning..

i think thats why, anyway.

Theres tons of ski footage on newschoolers.. but yeah dont post any skiboarding footage there. They are what you might call "intolerant". I don't think greco has the space for us all to be uploading vids like that.

I had a slick little edit done last year but I had to take it down due to the footage being used in Ben Wannamaker's next movie projetc : W**** ***** =)

it's coming out fall 2004 and we're shooting for it this year
to combine with last year's footage.

it'll be mad! so I unfortunately can't give you guys an edit
(as I normally would) because I must save the footage =P

if ben wants to I might make a little preview of what's to come
later on in the season... some sort of trailer but featuring only
a few of my tricks since I don't have the other riders' footage.

Damn. Well if anyone needs a place to host edits, try http://www.rollingedits.com But make sure and ask first, it is a rollerblading site where you can upload up to 50mb videos, but they would most likely be cool with hosting a skiboarding edit for awhile. It is a self upload thing too, very generous of them.

you can find some small clips here: http://www.skiboardsonline.com/html/gallery/events/events.htm

check out the Squaw Valley USS Finals and the Bruno Jam, the others are just pics. Within The Bruno Jam are sections like this one for Alex-trs http://www.skiboardsonline.com/html/gallery/events/bruno/alex-trs.htm

I make some little edits every once in a while. It does take a lot longer than skating cause you need the snow to hit the rails, and it doesn't come too often. I should have a new one in like a month or so. I theres a few up at http://skiboardmagazine.com/clips.html

The leaving song part 2 maybe....

I haven't heard the song in question, but as we all know AFI went Goth Metal (that's what I call it anyway) on their newest album...it's ashame. Maybe that's why you don't think it sounds like them?

I just watched my final edit of last year (clocking it at 5:30 minutes...damn I had quite a bit of footage!) and the song
was not AFI but

Thursday - Jet Black New Year...

I used the AFI one for the first draft of that edit earlier in the
season. It all depends if what you saw if the last version I
made...

hopefully it is with the fastslides on the sex change and the
450 frontsides at the end...and switch ups on the flat-down
