Gore Mountain (01/17/04)

I'm planning on being at Gore Mountain (North Creek, NY) next Saturday all day. It's about an hour N of Albany. If anyone is in the area and wants to hook up, drop me a line. I've never been there but from what I've heard it's suppose to be a pretty decent mountain. I guess I'm going to find out. I'll post my impressions when I get back.

I was supposed to go with OSU ski club, but decided to take the weekend off. Did you see any crazy ppl, they were probably from OSU!

I rode up with some guys from OSU on the gondola once, they said they were up there with about 20 people for the whole week I think.

Anyway, cool little mountain...terrain park blew though. A couple small tables, no rails, shitty halfpipe that a lot of people skied right down the middle of. Probably not worth the drive for you guys farther east who are closer to Vermont and Whiteface.

Our Gore trip was much smaller than the trip to Colorado (~280 ppl!) And this was to last the weekend, but our alums follow us around and spend longer.
