you heard about me huh? weird =P haha good to know though!
I have soooo many ideas in my freaking head that I'm going to explode...was suppose to ride em sunday but I couldn't get the right screws to mount them on .... then I wanted to do street but no one can come with me to shoot or ride
so I'm going on the slopes tomorrow nite after work to finally test the plates before Tremblant!
it they lock on rails/ledges like I hope they will then this will definately be the next step in skiboarding.... I don't know if you inline skate but damn I can't wait to do true mizou and true soul on down rails!!!! and the switch ups...oh my god the switch ups =P

just got back from testing the plate....its AWESOME!
just like I thought it would be... =P
I was throwing makios down a 30 foot downrail and a flat-down rail after like 4 misses and now I have it down! its just like on skates =P its awesome!
a small glitch happened with my M7s though...not related to the plate... after only 2 rides one of them is starting to delaminate in the center underneath the binding =((( thats not cool!
but oh well I've seen the trashiest of M7s still riding fine so
they can take a beating =P

good news about the plate, bad about the boards. canon has a 1 year warranty against manufactures defects so if it get's really bad you might want to hit them up for new boards. i'm a little confused by their binding disclaimer though but they seem to imply that delamination and edge seperation are still covered regardless of bindings used. am i wrong?

well from what I see the warranty will be applied a little more strictly if you do not have canon bindings...
but yeah I wrote to greco 20 minutes ago and he responded (and forward to Tibor from Canon) the minute after I mailed him =P Greco rocks! hehe
so we should be set pretty soon on what to do about the boards.

those are badass... bout time a real roller shows up n schools these oldschoolers... i just started skiboardin but ive been rollin for years. i can't wait to do (or even see) an alleyoop topsoul in those... you know how bad that'd look? it'd look even more pimp than in skates i think, and it feels and looks pimp as hell in skates.
Assuming they slide good, I'm sure you could produce those and sell those all over. I'd certainly buy them. hell, i'd pay you for complete design specs, assuming it could easily be adapted to most models of skis/bindings. if you're not willing to sell or give away the specs, could you gimme some tips/hints you've learned of what to do and what not to do when creating them?
i'm thinkin bout usin some old ground control or able frames, but I haven't thought of a sturdy way to stabilize them on the skis.
peace
