I got a pair for Christmas and rode them for the first time yesterday. I switched to them from Canon Thias bindings, and it took me a little while to get used to the lower height, but in the end that ended up improving my technique. On taller bindings you can get into some level of carve simply by shifting your weight right, but with the low height of the bombers you actually have to roll the boards over. This resulted in less slipping on ice for me without losing anything anywhere else (other than a small amount of control while I got used to the feeling). Also I was skeptical about how much the vibration bumpers would do, but I was plesantly to find out that they did actually help. Overall I loved them and would definately reccomend them to anyone.

I don't have time to hot wax all the time, so it is nice to have spare board or a crud board that will take the crap when conditions are bad. I got a bunch on boards and I hot wax multiple pairs or with dif temp waxes so I can just pull them when needed. Really I need more of them...about 4 or 5 more Bombers.

I believe the bomber bindings are lighter than then ff pro's - they used to be the lightest non-release as far as I remember (apart from the quick adjust ones).
Anyone please correct me if I am wrong.

I have a pair of the yellow FF Pro's and Bomber's. Without getting them on a scale, I'd say the Bomber's weigh a little more but not by much.

OK, then I guess I'm not following you. You are buying high dollar bindings in multiples, when it takes about two minutes to swap them from one set of boards to the other? Am I missing something here?

Yes, I don't fool around with such things. I carry some extras boards on my backpack and change board length or give a pair to some people I meet to try and don't want to be bothered swapping bindings Mike. Of course, if I had no money at all, then I would be forced to.

Just trying to understand, sorry if I made you upset.
3 pair of bombers, plus your Cams are a whole lot of bindings, that's all I was saying. Just couldn't figure out why someone would need more than that. No offense intended.
some people just have more money then they know what to do with, i hope i have that problem some day.

its like surfboards and leashes - i have 10 boards and about 5 leashes - one for all the boards i usually ride - i could use some more - i dont want to b bothered switching leashes every time i want to ride a different board.
as far as skiboarding goes - i got some Line FF Pro bindings and they are rock solid
