Skiboardsonline had as a strap line that said "A little more of everything, without being too much of anything" for describing the Revolt. While in itself true, this does not go anywhere near far enough. What this board seems to be, is the first true attempt by a manufacturer to "maximise" a specific design. There is no waste in any element. The tips have been specially shaped to provide the longest possible base/live edge in the chosen length, minimum possible swing weight, and no transition hook. The construction is sidewall, but this has been extended full width over the steel edges to provide maximum support for riding rails etc. The full length vertically laminated wood core has been constructed using a very light responsive timber, and the base material is sintered, beautifully ground with a medium structure. These boards are LIGHT!
How do they perform? Exactly the way you would expect. Maximum in every area! Very fast and lively, with a dynamic feel that just makes you want to ride all day. Instant response to input, no lag around the neutral point, and the deepest, sweetest carves you will ever know. They feel so light when you spin, and change direction so QUICKLY in moguls.
"A little more of everything, without being too much of anything" forget it! Try "Get MAXIMISED.....go Revolt"
