I am looking at some Groove taxis on ebay - i like the shorter boards (and 40 bucks you cant beat) but they have the 2 screw Klimax bindings and im not sure if they are even centered in the mid of the board - - if i shipped them to you, could you mount a 4x4 binding in the mid of the board?
cheers

you can go to a ski shop and they would do it for about 20$ probably.
im doing it myself, all u need is inserts, epoxy and a drill.

no, sorry we don't get into doing that but i can tell you those two inserts are not where they need to be, you'll need to put 4 new ones in.

sorry to hear- yes i guess i would need to get someone to put 4x4 into them - thanks
yea after you add it all up its not really worth it anymore. i would just save up a bit more cash and get some four hole insert boards

the more you ride the bigger you will want your boards to be

Go for the Snowjam 75's. I personally like the "scorpion" and the 2003-2004 season Snowjam 75 graphics, they were green/blue wave like.
While it may be true that most people may opt for longer boards later, there's plenty who stay on short boards for their turn radius/maneuverability.

i have the snowjam 75's and just recently got a pair of twin tips and the difference in length is huge and it got me thinking that i want longer boards now not too long but a bit longer im not huge on the skis because of there length but i think a longerboard about in the middle mayb 90s would be a better ride

i just tried putting inserts in some groove skywalkers and i failed.
the harderst part is getting the inserts to stick straigt up and not slightly angled.
if you wanna put inserts in, bring them to a ski shop and get them to do it for you isntead of ruining some boards like i did :P
