Ok i was in Vermont for the weekend with my brand new snowjam 90cms. And this was my first time on a pair of skiboards in a long time...like 3 years. SO when i was going down runs i saw that my skis were juttering everywhere and i couldnt get a smooth run. Do u think the skis are to small? I am 5.11 so if i go up to something around 97cm will i have a more smoother run? what skiboards do u guys suggest for next season?

i would personaly wait till fall to make that desision, i hear there are gana be a couple new boards comin out for next season. if you dont want to wait, maybe you could go with some loken apetorches, they are 97.5

Its not necc the snowjams cause i got a pair of those and they are decent. maybe ur boots are a little TOO tight or u have boots that are older than 6 yearsthey are too stiff and overpower the boards making them feel unstable. if u want to try a new set of boards. Loken Ape Torches or Reval8's are the way to go. your choice. i prefer my loken ct-8's they are mad stable for riding powder and rails. jumps they a lil stiff on :-p

I've got SnowJam 90's and am about your height and have no problems with chattering -- at least I didn't yesterday at Loon (http://www.waltzking.org/photos/05Mar2006/) . Chattering could be caused by a number of factors, but most likely with the 90's is technique; you have to find the "sweet spot" on the boards and work at staying on it. I've heard that it's easier to do on the longer boards but have no experience with anything longer.

Maybe try some SB with less waist such as line 5-0's or MNP. My Snowjams have tendency to get caught up with the edges if not ridden mindfully. They have low flex as well.

I'm about 6'1" and 230 and have no issues on my SJ 90's. I think it is how a person rides them. Try riding them not so flat, but like if you are really moving along, then try moving onto the edges now and again. Another thing to try, the extreme 2 bindings have a slight bit of adjustment under the 'X' part that screws it down to the board. You could try sliding that a little bit towards the rear so that you are riding just a quarter inch to the tails. You never know, that slight bit may be what helps you. You can also go further back toward the tails if you wanted to by disregarding the boot number settings on the bindings, and just offsetting that as well.
