They rent those at Tussey, this tiny mountain near me. From what I've seen, they seem to be the anomaly in big ski companies. They are decent width, they have wood cores, and they even have 4 hole bindings. A few of my friends rented them before and didn't have any trouble on them. Bindings don't look the greatest, but other than that they seemed pretty decent.

They look like they have a very large sidecut radius which will make carving harder and will make your turns less sharp. Other than that they don't look too terrible.

i sell those at my work. i've been trying to sell them all winter but even after i explain and insist that they are better then the jsut as expensive snowblades, everyone seems to go for the snowblade :S
they don't make carving harder they jsut make longer carves, which is better if you like carving at very high speeds.
they are decent, bindings might need an upgrade if your heavy and plan on doing very big tricks, perfectly symetrical which is nice for park, i'd go for them.
