Problem with movie files from this site

Whenever I've dowloaded movie files from here the image is all like multicoloured silhouttes. Does anyone know how i can fix this? I'm using windows media player.

it seems to be just .wmv files that are the problem

surely .wmv should play properly in windows media player, something must just not be setup right

make sure you have the latest Windows Media Player

check in your control panel, in your display control (where you can choose your screen saver) there you will find a place where you can choose your display preference (depends wich window you have (xp is the last choice)) make sure the resolution isnt less than 16bit if you preference is 256 colour it's gona look messy. if that not work try to find you video card driver and update it or check you preference.. if that not work it's probably your window media version or the software you use to see video.. they dont have the corect codec to see the video ..
