they are very comfortarble and much lighter then my previous salomon evolutions, havent ridden them yet i'll let you guys know how it goes.

I was going to get those, but I decided to go against buying ski boots since my feet are still growing.
Yeah, tell us how they are. I've heard that the lean in the boots aren't ideal for skiboarding though.
they dont seem like they'll be a problem, they're pretty flexy
here's a photo next to my old boots, the salomon evolution 8.0 the 1080 are MUCH lighter cause they don't have all that extra crap on them i guess and lighter outer shell. the shell is defintiely softer also, you'll note they both have a forward lean but i tend to stay pretty low and bent over anyway so its not a problem for me, i tried those "soft" boots (rossi 1, lange sft) and i hated them so its a mixed bag i guess. the 1080 seems to have a SLIGHLTLY more upright stance, but like i said its nice and flexy, and instead of just the cuff moving it actually flexes a little. i like them, i'd wear them to bed.

its the sunscreen one. i eat them for snacks.
