Just want to check whether the brake is wide enough for the Revolt 105? Or leashes should be used instead?

I don't know if the brakes are wide enough (I really doubt it though), but I would tell you that if they aren't, don't use releaseables or don't use the revolts. I have heard many stories from when skiiers still used leashes instead of brakes, and it result in many boards coming off your feet then swinging back at you, and if you have your edges even slightly sharp then it can very easily cut you on top of the straight out impact that it can cause. There's a reason skiiers stopped using leashes. The only reason other skiboarders and snowboarders use leashes is because it is assumed that you probably will never need them to actually stop the boards.

Yea it would really really suck if your snowboard or skiboard fell of and it would really hurt especially on a snowboard.

The brakes on the Pro Lite risers are 100mm wide and the Revolts are 110mm wide, so you have to use leashes with them. Leashes are not as much of a problem on skiboards as they are on alpine skis. The boards are short enough so that they cannot hit you in the head the way an alpine ski can. You can get your shins pretty beat up though even through ski pants.

Do the Lites work with the 120s or should you go with the Pros?

SnowJam 90s are 112mm wide at their narrowest and Greco advised me that the Pro Lite brakes would fit.

alittle bending and you should be fine

We have tried bending the Pro Lite brakes out to just 105mm so that they can be used on the Spruce 120's. When they are bent out that far, the brake arms don't stick far enough below the bottom of the board to work effectively. If you were to have a binding release with a brake like that, there is a chance it will not stop on the piste but go off into the trees and into deep powder. Remember that the Spruce riser takes away 24mm of brake arm length because the binding is that much higher off the board than it would normally be.

So, the pro lite brakes AREN'T going to work on SnowJam 90s then? Is there any chance I can get Pro Lites with the wide brakes that are on the Pro Primes?

The Pro Lite brakes (the standard brakes on the Rossignol Axium 100 bindings) have a completely different mounting system than the Pro Prime brakes. (Rossignol Axium 200 binding). Unfortunately, Rossignol doesn't offer a wide brake for the Axium 100 binding. The Spruce composite riser with the Salomon C509 binding can be fit with Salomon wide brakes which will work with the Snowjam 90's.

Salomon wide brakes are usually available in the US through some of the online ski retailers. (see: http://www.untracked.com/lr-Froogle-h-176452) The reason that we don't stock them is that the minimum order for wide brakes at Salomon is about US $2,000 which would be about a 10 year supply for us.
If you are offshore and can't find them at your local reatiler, (Tiffy couldn't find any in the UK.) we can buy them for you and send them via USPS.
