At Mammoth this weekend I say a guy with skiboards from a Japanese company with killer step in non release bindings that the same skiboard company had made. The name of the company started with "Kiss.." but I can't remember the whole name anymore. These bindings were awesome.
Has anyone heard of a Japanese company that fits this description? Supposedly they have gone out of business, but the product is still out there and I am not sure if there is already a patent on the bindings.
I know about the Bomber step-in's... but you need a boot that works with them... regular ski boots do not.
This binding I saw was not aluminum and looked like a regular non-release turned around backwards.
