Are there plans of Loken Industries releasing more boards this season? Their site seems to be coincidentally 'down' for maintenance.

They will be releasing the same models that they had last year, so yes they will be selling boards, but they will not be a whole new lineup.

There has been a lot of speculations regarding the future of Loken Industries lately.
Loken Ind. understands this, as unfortunate incidents have influenced their operation.
To make one thing clear however: Loken Industries are going strong!


- This summer we've been working really hard to prepare for the greatest season in skiboarding -. Ola Loken says. - Hiring proffesional agencies for different tasks are always tempting, but the economy in skiboarding is not on that level as of yet. A lot of things one naturally do one self, or trust others who say them self willing to help out. Loken Industries is very fortunate to have a very solid team of people in several positions. Alongside our team riders who represent the brand outwards, we have gotten some new strong associates in the administrative department, and our customers will experience this by several features in the future.

- In our time, a proffesional website is the foremost ambassador of a company, and the making of ours has unfortunately suffered complications we couldn't imagine.
The development was very good and gave high hopes for a killer site, but the finalization proved a failure.
- I can but recognize the full responsibility for this - Loken says, - In my opinion I chose the best resource I knew for this; unfortunately, my desicion was wrong -.

Exposing these difficulties, Loken Ind. also want to underline the positive aspects of their organisation.

As mentioned earlier, the public will see quite some new features in the future. At this time, Loken won't get into spesific detail, because the right place to announce such is through our own site. To the average web surfer it doesn't look like much now, but Loken Ind. assure that this is to change shortly.

- Our main focus now, is distribution of boards - Loken confirms.
- We have international orders to fill, and these will go out shortly. Boards will be available in time for Christmas, as long as planes still fly, boats still float, and roads still hold cars.

As soon as our site is up, we are interested in taking feedback and inspiration by all skiboarders world wide. We're constantly on the look out for talents to represent our brand, and we hope for a great and seamless communication with the community shortly.

We apologise for all inconveniences that may have occured, and thank our customers for their patience.

Great things are about to happen for the sport, and we will work hard to sit in the driver's seat in this development -, Ola Loken finishes.

Hey mango, yes there is!! Loken Industries started a distribution division in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. So from there its easy to send the boards all over europe without the customs and import duties troubles. you can mail me on orders@lokenindustries.com

Good news.
Glad to hear about European distribution. May tempt me over Revel8 for my next pair next season, we'll see, could be tough decision - the Revel8 choice is so good now with the shorter boards, better situation than when I bought my SnowJams ;)
