View Full Version : Just Tried My Brand New Snowjam 75cms
they were pretty fun, but the bindings somehow loosened up and had to readjust them to my boot size and tighten them a few times, but otherwise they were really fun :D

What kind of bindings are you using? A few years ago I had my bindings loosen up halfway through a run in Colorado and I didnt have any tools with me. Had to call the ski-patrol for a lift :(
At that point I took them apart and used lock-tight on all of the hardware and have not had a problem since. I would highly recommend using some :)

Yeah, there are two possibilities with the bindings. Either the screws came loose, or they weren't tight enough to begin with. I know I had that problem a couple times when I first started riding. They felt tight enough, but after a few runs they felt loose and I had to tighten them. Once I got them tight enough, they never came loose again. I have heard that some with loosen a bit, and a drop of loctite on each of that binding screws will prevent that from happening.
im using snowjam skiboards with the extreme 2 bindings
and i think they came loose because ice got in them or something and kinda pushed them outward, then it melted and they came loose i think :p
somethin like that anyway

I have a set of Bomber Elites where one of the screws connecting the binding to the skiboard actually loosened up enough that it fell off while I was in the backbowls of Vail. Luckily, I was able to find a replacement bolt.
I check all the bolts prior to going on the mountain, then again after lunch, that is if I take a break for lunch.
