Well i had a pair of Saloman K2's i think. Definently Saloman something? They worked great for the longest untill they decided to get stolen. so here i am in the market again and have no idea what is good or new out there. I had the non releaseable bindings and thought they were just fine for the type of skiier that i am. no near torn ACL's or anything lol
My skiing style is mostly moguels. i love the double blacks chalk full of moguels. Top speed isnt really a huge concern of mine but i do like to be able to stop quickly if i need to and possibly shred a friend with some snow so not sure how length of board will come into that role.
I have been renting boots so far and am looking to spend about 350 on a set of snowblades but will spend more if i have to meet the above stated criteria.
I ski about once a year and have been doing so for the past 17 years. i am 23 and have been skiboarding since i was 19.

Thanks for all your help and all opinions are welcome.

A pair of Loken - Apetorch's or Reval8's should be perfect for you

it sounds like you favor maneuverablity slightly more than speed/carving so I'd suggest some Revel8 BWP's (http://www.skiboardsonline.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=rvl8_bwp06&Category_Code=revel8_skiboards). they will give you a good balance between long and short which will allow you to keep up with/shred friends on skis/snowboards but still let you tear up the moguls.
