opening day was saturday,opted for the first weekday night after work,conditions blew,like 50 here,but gonna rain tomorrow so i wanted to try them out.
rode snowjam 90's and bombers all last year,so debated on 99's or the 105's and wanted a pair of releasable,just to try,and switch back and forth.
so the snow was tacky,and i forget my zardoz on the top the fridge,but as the sun went down it started to freeze a bit.so it got better.
anyways got some verse 550's off ebay last year and never got a chance to ride them,so it was all fresh gear,and wasnt sure what to expect.bout 20mins of feeling the gear out and it was gold!
these 105's are sooooo tight,i remember on straight shots last year just having to stay on the 90's,but these things are money,hold a sick edge,and just a bad ass set of sticks.
noticed it took a little more lean to get em on edge,couldve been the spruces,compared to the bombers or just extra length.no biggy,but kudo's to g on these sick ass things!
steered clear of the park,coz i think it was buy 1 admission and get 20 of your snowboarding buddies in for free day.
love how those a**holes get off the lift and set up shop in the way of everyone,strapping in,wheeeew,just venting
but that's it,and cant wait for friday,weather permitting.gonna switch on the bombers and try that combo.
definitley double thumbs up!
oh and i seen like 5 skiboarders riding up the lift,never seen them again.
annnnnd no morons ran their boards or ski's up on mine tonight!!
