Snowboard bindings on snowblades, I've heard it discussed, just never seen it. I've seen talk of tele bindings and seen those, which looks cool, and I've heard talk of snowboard bindings on skiboards, but haven't seen them before.
Has anyone on these boards actually tried it?

I've always wanted to try but have heard many say not to bother. It just seems like it could feel even more like a skate boot.
From the ebay posting...
Q: Do you use snow board boots with these? Kim Dec-11-06
A: I'm not really sure. The box list - boot sizes -that are compatible with these bindings. It does not specifically say snowboard boots. It looks as though any boots would work. The bindings are very adjustable and look like they could go either way.
So according to the seller the bindings are so adjustable they could use ski boots OR snowboard boots? How could you lose?

I wonder if he means anyboots as in ski boots or as in any type of winter boot. Like just snow shoveling boots as opposed to REAL snowboard boots ya know? That's what I thought he meant

The main problem is the lack of ankle support. You have no side to side support, and because of the way skiboards ride, you need that support. The other problem with just taking 4x4 skiboards and putting snowboard bindings is that they are wide enough that the bindings go out farther than the edge and drag. I bet it if worked well there would be a lot more out there with how many people have talked about doing it.
