Wassabi guys?
Just wanted to drop a line and let everyone know I didn't disappear over the summer. Can't wait to get out on the snow this year and hopefully join some of ya.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure when I'll be able to make it out. Had a little accident at work. Long story short....Acura with a locked up tranny. One of the guys was using his big Jeep and a tow rope to pull (drag would be a better word) the thing into the bay. Well...as soon as the front wheels on the Ack hit the lift, the hook attached to the Jeep managed to let loose. I was walking alongside the car steering through the window and that hook whipped back at me. So we've got a rope with over a ton of stress on it with a 3 and a half pound metal hook on both ends. One side lets go. Who took physics? Thing cruise missiled itself into my right knee. Swear I thought I was going to friggin die. Doc at the ER said I was okay. Nothing broken. One inch higher and it would've shattered my kneecap he said.
It's been slowly getting better and better. Had to pass up a couple trips already because of it. Sorry Mark! So...Soon as this thing stops being tender, I'll be out there.
Anyway...I'll be in touch from time to time. Can't get online half as much as I used to lately. Take care everyone. Talk to ya next time. And if I'm not around again before then, have a good holiday.
