i bought some boots for $4 on ebay. they seem nice, dalbello. they're mondo 26.0. i'm a size 8-9/12 depending on the shoe brand so i thought i'd try it for th eprice. here's the thing, they fit great, but my toes are kind of scrunched up. I READ THAT SOMETIMES IN THIS CASE YOU CAN CUT THE INSOLE UP so the toes will fit.
is this a bad idea?

If they are pretty well beat up and used as I suspect they are since you got them for 4$ I would recommend trying to just cut out part of the inside of the liner. This will mean that your feet will be more likely to get a bit colder, but if they were 4$ and will be too uncomfortable to ride in then I would say that it's not the worst risk in the world to try.

heres a picture. they're pretty scuffed up but seem like they'll be alright. i think i'm going to try to smash a bunch of stuff into the insert and see if i can stretch it. if not i'll try cutting it.
