I just noticed how terrible skiboarding is in Quebec...

It's gonna be almost 3 months I have my boards now and I just keep noticing that the market in Quebec is terrible. Firstly everyone calls Snowblades, which I'm now used to. Secondly everyone rides Salomon blades and Elan blades. It's really terrible. Other then my boards, the only other boards I've seen thsi season that are pretty good are Fisher XXL's and Line Pro. That's it. Nothing more. Is it this terrible where you live:confused:

I've never met someone here who knows something about skiboarding :D

And this snowblading thing is also something I'm already used to, although I'm trying to correct everyone with the right name.
Other boards then salomons ? no way ... the only other boards I've ever seen, are mine and some bullshit cheap things with no name :D

Skiboarding doesnt really exist here - so it's always funny when people look at you like you are from mars when you are doing some tricks :D

something else in quebec, 2 resorts have banned skiboarding in the park, Mont Avila and St-Bruno just put up the signs last weekend.

you should ask them if it would be ok to skiboard in the park with the Spruce Riser Releasable Bindings.

That's terrible. At avila I emaied the guy in charge of the Snowpark and he said it was something about balance. i told him about all the snowboarders that bust their faces open and he said it isn't us it's the insurance companies...thats just wrong

yeah its my home mountain, 15 min from my house, and i've been buying a season pass there for the past 5 years...

situation is..hmm..its Underground here, skiboarding!!! there is some snowbladers(salomon) and elans, only 2 M7 skb here in Latvia!

its normal thing if i am riding alone or only with one friend(who is riding my old salomon crap)
